The River

December 28, 2013

There is a river inside of you, a never-ending, always flowing, unlimited river that is your spirit, your very soul ,and it is leading you to an amazing life of satisfaction, achievement, and  peace of mind and heart.   Regardless of what you are doing in your everyday life, no matter how busy or distracted you get, or how close or far you feel from yourself, the river flows endlessly.  Are you going with the flow of the river or are you fighting against it?  If life seems hard for you, it is likely you are going against the flow.

As you begin to contemplate the New Year and what it has to offer, take time to acknowledge the river.  Each morning or evening, spend 15-20 minutes in a quiet space and contemplate the following questions:

  • What is it I really want? What makes my spirit soar?
  • If I had no fear and could do anything, what would I be doing?
  • What is holding me back from living my dream?
  • What action can I take today, this week, next week, next month, to manifest my dream?

As you begin to become clear about what you really want, notice the doors that begin opening (and closing) for you.  The universe is on your side and is working specifically on your behalf.  Notice how wonderful it feels each day as you take action and support yourself by honoring what it is you truly want in your life.   When you become committed to your dreams you become unstoppable and you become on fire for what you want.  In times of doubt or when things seem to be going to slower than you anticipated, remember the river always continues to flow and is available to you any time you choose to tap into it!  2014 is going to be the best year yet!

Thanks Steve- it is amazing how connected we can become to ourselves and our spirit when we take the time to slow down and listen isn’t it? Regards, Robin
